SCAT Airlines has also placed a significant order in the Dubai Airshow 2023 as the Kazakhstan based airline has opted for 7 Boeing 737 MAX jets.
SCAT Airlines Boeing order
Shymkent based SCAT Airlines which operates a fleet of 32 Boeing 737 aircraft has placed a small order for Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The airline has opted for 7 Boeing 737 MAX 8 jets. With this latest order, the airline is expecting to double its Boeing 737 narrowbody fleet. SCAT Airlines is looking forward to launch flights to more European destinations.
President of SCAT Airlines said that as of now, SCAT is the most dynamically developing airline in the country with largest fleet. The newer Boeing 737 MAX will increase the airline’s capacity. These jets will present the airline with an pooprtunity to expand its current network and offer passengers with more travel options.

SCAT Airlines already operates a fleet of Boeing 737 MAX jets. It operates 3 MAX 8 & 5 MAX 9 jets. In fact, SCAT Airlines was the first one in Central Asia to debut the MAX series.
The aircraft chosen by the airline : Boeing 737 MAX 8 has a seating capacity of up to 200 passengers depending upon configuration. It has a range of 3,500 nautical miles. On the other hand, the 737 MAX 9 can seat upto 220 passengers and has range of 3,300 nautical miles. The Boeing 737 MAX series has 20% less fuel burn & carbon emissions cutoff with respect to previous Boeing 737 series models.
Boeing Senior Vice President of COmmercial Sales & Marketing, Brad McMullen said that this back to back order from SCAT Airlines shows the belief airlines have shown in the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. It is the testament to airline’s confidence in the value, reliability & performance provided by the next generation Narrowbody aircraft.
