Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will soon resume China operations. The airline has also partnered with Beijing based Air China.
PIA partners with Air China
Passengers travelling with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) can now fly to 16 more cities to China via Beijing. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has partnered with Air China to carry the passengers forward.
These Chinese cities includes Guangzhou, Shanghai, Wuhan, Chengdu, Chongqing, Changchun, Hangzhou, Harbon, etc.
Air China Pakistan Operations
Air China operates to 2 Pakistani cities : Islamabad and Karachi. The airline operates 3X weekly between Islamabad and Beijing with the Airbus A330.
This flight to Islamabad continues to Karachi and after that, departs for Beijing. This route will remind you of a Triangle.
In short, Air China operates 3X weekly to both Karachi and Islamabad.
PIA to resume China operations
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has already announced that it will start China operations from 6th August. Effective 6 August, the airline will start 1X weekly flight between Islamabad and Beijing.
This flight will be operated every Sunday.
One way ticket from Beijing to Islamabad is 3,814 RMB and return ticket is 5,685 RMB.
PIA provides incentives
The Pakistani flag carrier has offered a 20 percent discount for students travelling on flights from Pakistan to China and onwards with Air China. The airline offers free baggage of 80 kg for economy class and 100 kg for executive class passengers.
This discount will facilitate both Chinese and Pakistani passengers.
PIA to UK?
Pakistan Aviation Minister said that Pakistan International Airlines will start flying to United Kingdom within next 3 months. The airline has been banned by various countries including United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, etc. In June 2020, European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) banned the airline because of pilot licensing frauds.
