Travel Agents Reactions
According to Member of the Eco-Tourism Board of the state ad MD of Jose Travels, TK Jose, the route between Indore and Mumbai has always been congested with passengers. Considering this possibility, Alliance Air plans to launch a flight from the city to Mumbai. The airline already operates a flight to Goa, so this will be its second flight from the city. The airline is using an ATR 72-seater for the trip. Terminal 1 of Chhatrpati Shivaji International Airport will be the flight’s departure point.
According to Jose, the airline began accepting reservations for tickets on January 3. As a result, the fare between Indore and Mumbai is Rs 4,568, and between Indore and Mumbai, it is Rs 4,300. According to him, the flight would satisfy travelers’ need to board late-night flights from Mumbai to other countries.
Right now, two airlines are operating on this route. Air India operates daily flights while IndiGo operates 5 flights on a daily basis. Alliance Air flight departs from Indore at 21:20 hrs. Just 10 minutes before this departure, an IndiGo Airbus A320neo takes off for Mumbai CSMIA. Classic Alliance Air planning!
