IndiGo to connect Delhi to Nashik, Itanagar and Belagavi

India’s largest Low Cost Carrier, IndiGo is all set to enhance its domestic network from the national capital – Delhi connecting it to Nashik, Belagavi and Itanagar. The airline will connect Delhi with 3 cities in different zones of India.

IndiGo : Nashik to Delhi & Bengaluru

IndiGo launched direct flights to Nashik on 15 March 2023. At that time, it was launching its 103rd destination. The airline initially connected Nashik to Ahmedabad, Goa and Nagpur. After this, the airline launched direct flights from Nashik to Indore and Hyderabad with effect from 1 June.

Now, the airline is enhancing its network from Nashik by bringing Delhi and Bengaluru on Nashik network. The airline will start direct flights on this routes with effect from October 29. IndiGo expect to start bookings from October 1. After SpiceJet shut down entire operations from Nashik, IndiGo is the only airline operating direct flights to and from the airport. With this enhancement, Nashik will have connections to 7 Indian cities.

Delhi to Belagavi

With effect from October 5, IndiGo will connect Belagavi Sambra Airport to Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport with daily flights. The airline will deploy its 186 seater Airbus A320neo on this route. Last year, SpiceJet, which had been operating various flights from Belagavi, withdrew from the airport, causing the airport to lose a significant portion of its connectivity. With this daily IndiGo flight, it appears that the connectivity will be restored.

But the flight bookings are available only from October 5 to October 28. It will be interesting to see whether the airline continue bookings in the winter schedule or not.

Delhi to Itanagar

Along with Nashik, IndiGo will connect Delhi to Itanagar as well. Itanagar Hollongi Airport is the first Greenfield International Airport in Northeast part of India. The airline is currently connecting the airport non-stop to Kolkata and one stop to Mumbai. Now, the national capital Delhi will have a direct connection to it.
