India’s largest and most preferred Low Cost Carrier IndiGo is all set to connect Hyderabad to Singapore. The airline has announced the launch of daily flights between Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) and Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), set to start from October 29th. October 29 also marks as the start of the Winter Schedule.
This strategic move by IndiGo is to address the growing demand for air travel between both the cities.
IndiGo connect Hyderabad to Singapore
IndiGo currently connects Singapore with 7 Indian cities.
Bhubaneswar was the latest addition in this list. Hyderabad will be the 8th city to be connected to Singapore by IndiGo. After this addition, IndiGo will be operating 58 weekly flights between India and Singapore.
The airline’s reputation for punctuality, efficiency and affordable fares has made it a preferred choice for lakhs of travelers across India.
Festive Season Demand
Not just IndiGo but other airlines are also upscaling their capacity between India and Singapore. Singapore International Airlines (SIA) yesterday announced temporary upgrade in capacity on Singapore to Kolkata route. Because of Durga Puja, the airline will operate daily Airbus A350 flights from October 14-23 and October 26-30.
IndiGo recently launched daily non-stop flights between Hyderabad and Ras Al Khaimah as well.
Talking about the launch, IndiGo Head of Global Sales, Mr Vinay Malhotra said :
IndiGo Airlines is delighted to announce this new route between Hyderabad to Singapore and back. The growing demand on this route has prompted the airline to knock its door. The focus will continue to the same i.e. delivering exceptional services and meeting the evolving needs of the passengers. With initiation of this service, the airline will be flying 58 times weekly to Singapore from 8 Indian destinations.
