Ahead of the most awaited Air India livery launch, an Indian startup airline Fly91 has revealed its livery. The airline will operate fleet of ATR aircraft.
Fly91, a startup airline based at Goa International Airport has revealed its livery. The airline livery features Pastel Blue and Yellow color, with its tagline “Bharat Unbound” on the rear side of the fuselage. The airline livery also features a cockpit mask, which airlines like Air Canada uses to enhance the look of their aircraft.
On the tail, the airline name is featured. The registration in the render is VT-FLY. Coincidentally, no any aircraft has been registered in India with this registration. It may be possible that first aircraft of Fly91 comes registered with the airline brand name initials.
The name “Fly91” comes from India’s country code “+91”. The airline has a tagline “Bharat Unbound”, which means connectivity across India. The airline aims to offer economical, affordable and accessible last mile connectivity to India. Manoj Chacko, a former executive of Kingfisher Airlines, and Harsha Raghavan, former CEO of Fairfax India, promote Fly91.

Backed by 2 Former executives of big aviation firms, Fly91 has big plans for upcoming future. Just Udo Aviation Private Limited holds the corporate name for Fly91, similar to SNV Aviation Pvt Ltd. being the corporate name for Akasa Air. The airline has an initial funding of Rs 200 crore. It plans to start operations in September this year with a duo of ATR 72-600 aircraft.
The airline received a No-Objection Ceritificate from Ministry of Civil Aviation in April 2023. Soon after unveiling the logo, the airline got its first tranche of routes which it will operate under Government promoted Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN)- Regional Connectivity Scheme.
The airline aims to have a fleet of 6-7 ATR 72 aircraft in first year of operations. Within next 4 years, it plans to induct same number of aircraft. Taleigao, Panaji, is the headquarters of the airline.
