Eurowings, the German Low Cost Carrier is all set to start direct flights between Berlin and Dubai. As of now, Condor is the only airline operating on this route.
Eurowings : Berlin to Dubai
According to the bookings available, the German airline will start flights in the starting of Winter Schedule. With effect from October 30, the airline will connect Berlin Brandenburg International Airport (BER) and Dubai International Airport (DXB). Eurowings will operate 4 times weekly with the Airbus A320neo aircraft.
The flight will be operational on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Airbus A320neo aircraft operated by Eurowings have capacity of 180 seats. All these aircraft have a sticker stating ‘makechangefly’. The duration of this flight is expected to be more than that of 6 hours.

EW 1150 : The Airbus A320neo leaves Berlin Airport at 07:10 hrs and arrives at Dubai Airport at 16:30 hrs
EW 1151 : Departs Berlin Airport at 18:00 hrs and arrives at Berlin Airport at 22:00 hrs
The route has not been officially launched by the airline but bookings are available on the website. The inaugural flight on October 30 is available for 259.99 Euros in Economy Class. Smart ticket costs 317.99 Euros. For Business class, the fare is 409.99 Euros.
In Smart Ticket, the airline provides extra services like priority boarding, small & large cabin bag as well as checked bag and seat reservation. Eurowings aircraft does not have Business class. It is just Economy Class seat with blocked middle seat. Passengers can carry 2 large cabin bags and 2 checked-in bags. Free onboard meal is provided to Business class passengers.
Eurowings and route competition
Talking about direct competition, another German carrier Condor operates on the same route. Condor operates 5 times weekly on this route on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. This airline also deploys its Airbus A320. Condor shares the same configuration to that of Eurowings. Its A320s are also configured with 180 Economy class seats.
